Hey friends.

I thought that i will write you a little bit, what i have been up to during the last week. I have been to Valga for longer now and i am finally used to it. I like it here. At least i know, where my home is now. I guess i will start writing from the last Friday.

On the last Friday we had free food give away. We shared food to people, who lived in bad conditions or had big families. I really felt, that this is so right thing to do and this is something that Jesus would to, when He would be here. It felt sad and happy at the same time. Sad, because i felt, how much God loves them and wants to know them, but i did not have much more to give them than some food and smile... I wish i had more time to share them about the love of God but maybe next time. It made me happy, because i saw that they were happy about the free food. Have you ever thought, how less do you need to make someone happy (or at least smile). The things, that seem so elementary like food and home and clothes to wear can mean so much to someone. When you have these things then please, don´t go to bed tonight without saying thanks to God. There are so many people around you who would give their life to give these things to their children.

Here is some pictures taken this day (sorry for bad quality)

At the same night we had also American night with the youths. It was great night to get to know them better and just hang out and play some games. We also had Hot seat-like interview where they had chance to get to know us better and ask different questions.

On the Sunday we went on several graduation ceremonies. Some of the local youths graduated basic school (9th grade). It was good to celebrate with them. On the other days we were working on the day time and in the evening we usually play table games or then play basketball or volleyball.

I also got to know, how powerful and necessary it is to take time and speak to the Lord and ask for His strength. On the day before yesterday i felt really tired and i felt like i have lost my focus completely. One of my good friends, Käthlin was here in Valga and we spent some time and spoke, but i could not speak anything... Most of her speak went in from one ear and came out from the other. I felt physically really weak. I thought that maybe eating will help me a little bit. I tried to eat, but i could´nt. So Käthlin said, that i should take some time to read Bible. When i got back to church i went, fell down on my knees and prayed. At first it did´nt help much but later i realized, that its an enemy attack. I started to tell him to get out of my life in the name of Jesus and i told him that my body and life belongs to Christ and Valga belongs to Christ. After a while it was all gone. I felt free.  Satan is really afraid of the name of Jesus.  He does not like, when we speak His name, cause he knows, that it is stronger than any other name and that´s why he tries to stop us.

So yesterday i still felt tired, but it was so much better then. We had meeting with Innar and Siiri. They also took Risttee intern with them. Her name is Caroline. She is also from North Caroline and she goes to the same church that Chris and Laura used to go back in States.
So we had meeting and after that we had lunch with them.
On the evening we had game night with youths at Chris and Laura´s place.

Today we were working in the morning and in the evening we went to play volleyball and football.
I had a great chance to play football with some Russian youths who showed up, when we started to play football. We invited them to the English Camp and hopefully they will show up there ;) Lets hope and pray for the best. This morning i also had a weird dream. I saw the Bible Days event. It was not regular, because it took place in Tallinna lauluväljak (biggest concert place in Estonia.) There were thousands and even more youths there... The weird thing about this is that the next bible days take place in Tallinn.

So this is how my life goes right now. I really need your prayers, because it has so much stronger power, than we can ever imagine. There is spiritual war going on and specially when we share the gospel and the name of Jesus.
You could pray for strength to focus on God even when the difficult times come. You could pray for not only me but for all of the Valga team (Nate, Chris and Laura).

Thats all for now. Can´t wait to write you again, what God is doing and how big is His name.
Stay blessed.
Ciao!

Hey, Fellow mateys!

I am so happy to write you from the warm and sunny Valga (well not so sunny any more, cause its late). We
(Chris Wiles, Laura Wiles and Nate Musser) arrived to Valga almost a week ago, last thursday. Me and Nate moved into a church. Actually it was my biggest fear about this summer. At first i like didn´t like at all the idea, that i have to actually live in church, but now i am used to it... Well i better not tell you about the other fears. Hopefully they won´t become true during the summer, but we will see.... :D
Chris and Laura are missionaries from North Carolina state. They have been youth leaders in Valga for 3 years. Nate is my room mate for this summer. He is from Wisconsin and he is 22 years old like me.

Since the last week, we have been traveling a lot around Estonia. We haven´t been to Valga for so long time.
Last friday we took a ride to Rapla, to the Bible Days. It was amazing time with all the good friends, that i see maybe once or twice a year. It was also a good beginning for mission, cause we went out to the smaller villages near Rapla and invited people to Bible days main event.

We got back to Valga on sunday and then we had sunday service, which was VERY different from the meeting, that i am used with, but i will survive this :D.
After the meeting we went to play some volleyball and then had some good swimming with the rest of the youth team- Kerli, Vaike and Katrin are also part of the team.

On monday we have usually  day of rest. So we played some basketball and hanged out with local youths. We had really good time.

Yesterday we had a small meeting in the morning and then we went to Tartu to Koma family night.
It was really good time with all Koma members, their families and summer interns. We made some bbq food and we also had really good prayer time. It was the evening, where all the summer interns were finally together. Rebecca actually came right from the plane and it was the first time for us to see her. After the meeting we had some great time at Innar and Siiris´s place.(They are working in Koma).
It was really good and relaxing day.

Today we had again a meeting and we got some more info about how the camps are going to be like.
We are going to organize camps at Valga and Kunda. These are the best places for me because i really like Valga and there are so many youths here who haven´t heard about the Christ (yet). The youths here are so amazing. I love so much hanging out with them. Kunda is special, because this was my first taste of English Camp. This was the camp, where i decided two years ago to give my life completely to Christ... I have so good memories from there... Good is to go back there as the completely new person. God has made a good work :)

We are also going to help out in Ülenurme English Camp and we are going to learn there a lot about how to run a camp. I am waiting forward the first camp term, which begins at the end of June.

So. Thats all for now.
I will write you more abut life in Valga and will let you know, what God has done.
Blessings ;)

Hey, Friends

Summer is all started and it has been amazing so far even though i have been only on training and on the amazing race.

The Amazing race was real fun. We had great adventure in Ukraine. First we drove to Krakow, Poland to take train to Lviv, Ukraine. We spent a day in Lviv and then took overnight
train to Kiew, where we met american interns and we started the race.

In our team were Chris from Valga, Andrew from Texas, Nate from Wisconsin and Vahur from Tartu. On the first day we had many challenges like We had to define Tanks in museum and
had to raise 10 local money. (what ever they are :D) This challenge took us to lead, cause we finished it in 10 minutes, when others took it about an hour. We sang a birthday song to some
girls.
One really amazing task was a zipride over the river. The zipline was about 50 meters from the ground and the lenght of the ride was about 530 Meters. It was extremely
amazing. So. We won on the first day and took a overnight train back to Lviv.

On the second day things did not go this well. We were on the good position until the sewing challenge. We had to sew and Ukrainian flag.
For some teams it took only an hour. For our team it took 4,5 hours. It took us almost to the last position. We decided to work with other Estonia team. The other challenges were
searcing for coffee shops around Lviv, eating meat jelly (sült) (wich americans hated) and learning Ukrainian dance.

Even though we did not finish well on that day, we got to know the whole Estonian team. It was really great time. On the second day we did not go on the train. We spent a night
in hotel, witch was really relaxing after 3 nights on trains.

On the third day we traveled all the way back to Poland and Checz republik.

Right now i am staying at the hotel in Malenovice, Checz. We have a leaders training, that has been really good this far. I have learned so much about God and about myself.
It´s great to see, that there are many people like me and they are facing the same problems, that i do.
Also it is great to see, that i dont have to pretend to be someone else, cause God knows excactly, who we are and where He can use us.

Thats all for now. I am too tired to write more, but i will do soon, when i get back to Estonia. Here is too bad wifi connection...

Take care and stay blessed.
